Frequently asked questions
Are all TikTok posts supported?
Public videos and photo carousels can usually be imported: for a carousel, Zeste reads the text on each slide and the caption. Some regional restrictions or private accounts may block access.
What if the import fails?
Try again with the full link, like tiktok.com/@account/video/…. If it still doesn't work, the Report this problem button sends us the link and we look at what's wrong.
Does the music get in the way of the transcription?
Rarely. When the voice is drowned out, Zeste relies more on the caption. A video with no voice and no detailed caption will give an incomplete recipe, to finish in the editor.
